EULA
End-User License Agreement
This agreement governs your use of the RunShelf macOS application.
Effective: July 26, 2026
Parties, Application, and Acceptance
This End-User License Agreement is between Burlis Management GmbH and you. It applies to the RunShelf macOS application from the effective date. By starting a trial or activating a license, you accept this agreement.
Trial and License Grant
The seven-day local trial begins only when you select Start Trial. Subject to this agreement, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-sublicensable license to install and use RunShelf on Macs you own or control, up to the activation allowance attached to your purchased license.
One-Time License and Updates
A one-time license does not expire merely through time. It does not promise every future major version or a fixed period of updates unless checkout says otherwise.
Activation and Validation
RunShelf may require activation, periodic validation, and deactivation. Its available offline grace behavior and activation process are determined by the purchased license and the app.
Lawful Transfer
Where mandatory law permits, you may transfer a purchased perpetual copy only as a complete transfer: the recipient accepts this EULA, you retain no usable copy or license key, and the activation is deactivated or transferred through the available process.
Restrictions
You may not publicly share keys, circumvent activation allowances, rent, sublicense, or use RunShelf unlawfully. You may not transfer or reverse engineer RunShelf except where this EULA or mandatory law permits it.
Local Process and Data Responsibility
You are responsible for choosing which local processes to control. Stopping or restarting a process can cause data loss, interrupted development work, or service unavailability. You are also responsible for local data and raw logs; see the Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Components, Updates, and Services
Third-party components are governed by their notices, available in the bundled LICENSES.md. Updates are user-initiated, and compatibility and third-party services can change.
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate a license for fraud, abuse, unlawful use, charge reversal, or material breach, while preserving mandatory consumer remedies.
Liability
Under German law, liability remains unlimited for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, guarantees, product liability, and mandatory law. For slight negligence, liability exists only for breach of material contractual duties and is limited to foreseeable, typical damage.
Law, Changes, and Contact
German law applies while mandatory local consumer protections and jurisdiction rules remain preserved. Invalid provisions do not affect the remaining agreement. We may make prospective changes, and the provisions that should continue after termination survive.
