Terms

Terms of Use

These terms govern access to the RunShelf website and use of the RunShelf macOS application.

Effective: July 26, 2026

Provider and Scope

RunShelf is provided by Burlis Management GmbH, Philippstraße 27, 52349 Düren, Germany. These terms govern the RunShelf website and macOS utility.

RunShelf and Your Responsibilities

RunShelf is a macOS utility for finding and controlling local development servers. You are responsible for choosing which local processes to open, pause, resume, restart, reveal, or terminate, reviewing commands, and keeping appropriate backups.

You must not use RunShelf in a way that violates applicable law, third-party rights, or license restrictions.

Trial, Purchases, and Licenses

The seven-day local trial starts only when you select Start Trial. RunShelf is a one-time purchase through Polar as merchant of record; it has no automatic renewal or subscription.

License rights are governed by the EULA, and the activation allowance is governed by the purchased Polar license.

We guarantee a full refund of the purchase price for any direct RunShelf web purchase when you request it within 14 calendar days after purchase. Request the refund from [email protected]. We process approved refunds through Polar. Mandatory statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. A completed refund deactivates the related license.

Intellectual Property and Availability

RunShelf and its content are protected by applicable intellectual property law. Availability depends on third-party services, updates, and support; we do not promise uptime.

Liability

Under German law, liability remains unlimited for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, guarantees, product liability, and mandatory law. For slight negligence, liability exists only for breach of material contractual duties and is limited to foreseeable, typical damage.

Law, Changes, and Contact

German law applies while mandatory local consumer protections and jurisdiction rules remain preserved. We may make prospective changes to these terms; invalid provisions do not affect the remaining terms.
